University, opened his pottery studio and gallery in Bywater in 2002.

Brice is a local painter who lives in the Marigny though his gallery
is actually at 701 Poydras in the downtown business district. Brice
was the first commissioned artist to present the official poster for
the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. One of New Orleans' most
respected folk artists, with his use of bright color Brice captures
many festive events through his unique works of art. Wherever you
see a Bruce Brice painting, you see people interacting, a social awareness,
and a documentary.
